One day, when the sky was a monster, and time travel was a sport, I was doing cotton candy off the heaving chest of God. I don't remember who was driving, or where we were going, but the air conditioner was definitely broken. Thunder was on repeat on the only three stations that came through. And when the lightning struck, I woke up from my dream; light years away from my bed.
